Spanish speaking countries

Spanish is spoken in 35 countries. Of these, 22 use Spanish as the official national language of government: Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Spain, Peru, Venezuela, Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Bolivia, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Paraguay, Uruguay, Panama, Puerto Rico, Equatorial Guinea, Western Sahara. A further 13 countries use Spanish as an additional language: United States of America, Canada, France, Belize, Switzerland, Sweden, Andorra, Virgin Islands, Aruba, Curacao, Caribbean Netherlands, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands

In total, 457.1 million speak Spanish and it's the 4th most spoken language in the world. Spanish is most widely spoken in Mexico (114,754,000 speakers), followed by Colombia (51,355,000 speakers), and Argentina (44,755,000 speakers).
